Rumi

Rumi
Carpet design
Rumi repeats stepped, pointed arches within rectangular frames, using several closely spaced outlines to define each prayer panel. Fine linework marks the boundaries around the inner fields. The pointed crowns descend through angular steps before joining the straight sides. Frame lines continue across the base of each panel, while the broad plain interiors give the layered outlines a clear visual presence.
