Sema

Sema fills a sequence of pointed arch panels with an interlocking geometric pattern of stars and polygons. Bands and fine outlines define the linked shapes within each panel. Each arch carries the same arrangement, creating a regular series of individual prayer spaces. A broad, relatively plain strip below balances the detailed upper panels, with fine horizontal rules marking the division.
